Agreement to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding contract between you and TruckerMatch ("we", "us", "our") and govern your use of the TruckerMatch website, mobile experience, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By registering an account, completing profile verification, or otherwise accessing the Platform, you confirm that you have read these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy, and that you agree to be bound by them.
If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated through in-app notice or email at least 14 days before they take effect.
Eligibility and Account Creation
TruckerMatch is an adults-only service intended for genuine relationship-seeking individuals connected to the trucking lifestyle. To register, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher);
- Reside in the United States or one of our supported regions;
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information, including a real first name and a recognizable photograph of your own face;
- Pass photo verification before sending messages or appearing in Route Matching results;
- Optionally confirm your CDL status if you wish to display a verified driver badge - this is voluntary and never required to join.
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. One person may hold only one active account at a time.
User Conduct and Community Rules
TruckerMatch exists because drivers and the people who love them deserve a respectful, scam-free place to meet. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension or permanent removal without refund:
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or national origin;
- Sending unsolicited explicit content, soliciting commercial sexual services, or any "lot lizard"-style propositions;
- Requesting or sending money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial details to another member for any reason;
- Using the Platform for commercial purposes, recruiting, marketing, MLM schemes, or driving traffic to external paid services;
- Posting content that depicts minors in any context, contains illegal material, or violates third-party rights;
- Attempting to scrape, reverse-engineer, automate, or otherwise interfere with the Platform's normal operation;
- Sharing another member's private information (real address, employer, DOT number, family details) without explicit consent.

Prohibition of Fake Profiles and Bots
TruckerMatch operates a zero-tolerance policy toward fake profiles, catfishing, and automated accounts. According to Pew Research, only 1 in 10 online daters trusts that platforms remove fakes effectively - we built our verification stack specifically to invert that statistic.
Every profile must pass two checks before appearing in the network: a selfie verification (live photo matched against profile images) and a duplicate-detection scan. Cartoon avatars, masked photos, stock images, and group shots that obscure your face will be rejected at upload.
Accounts found to use stolen photos, impersonate another person, run automated scripts, or coordinate romance-scam behavior will be banned permanently, and verified evidence may be shared with law enforcement and the FTC's romance-scam reporting program.
Intellectual Property
The TruckerMatch name, logo, brand mark, "Route Matching Engine," "Stopover Connect," "Road Pulse Feed," all interface designs, copy, photography, code, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of TruckerMatch and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial relationship purposes only.
You retain ownership of the photos, voice notes, biography text, and other content you upload ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant TruckerMatch a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reformat, and distribute that content within the Platform for the purpose of operating the service. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we must retain copies to comply with legal obligations or investigate abuse.
Anti-Trafficking and Safety Policy
TruckerMatch maintains a strict anti-trafficking, anti-exploitation, and anti-commercial-sex policy. We comply with the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, FOSTA-SESTA, and applicable state laws. Any attempt to use the Platform to recruit, solicit, advertise, broker, or facilitate human trafficking, commercial sex work, or the exploitation of minors will result in immediate permanent ban and direct referral to the National Human Trafficking Hotline (1-888-373-7888), the FBI, and relevant state authorities.
If you suspect trafficking or exploitation involving a TruckerMatch member, report it to us at [email protected] and contact local law enforcement. We cooperate fully with lawful investigations and preserve relevant data when required.
Drivers are uniquely positioned to spot trafficking on the road, and we actively support the Truckers Against Trafficking initiative through awareness resources in our Safety Tips hub.
Account Suspension and Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Closure removes your profile from public view within 24 hours; backups are purged within 30 days, subject to the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, exposed other members to harm, attempted fraud, or used the Platform unlawfully. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an appeal route via support. Premium subscription fees are non-refundable for accounts terminated for cause.
Limitation of Liability
TruckerMatch is a platform for introductions and communication; we are not a matchmaker, background-check service, or relationship guarantor. While we verify photos, run anti-fraud screening, and act on reports, we cannot guarantee the conduct, identity, or intentions of any member. Meetings, communications, and relationships you form through the Platform are at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TruckerMatch, its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total cumulative liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Wilmington, Delaware, except where prohibited by law. Questions about these Terms can be sent to our contact team.
